No — TradeHouse is completely free for homeowners. There is no fee to walk in, meet a contractor, or request a project proposal. You only pay the contractor directly if you decide to move forward with your project. We make our money through contractor memberships, not homeowner fees.
Do I have to hire the contractor I meet?

Absolutely not. There is zero obligation. Walking in, meeting a contractor, and getting a quote is completely free and commitment-free. If it’s not the right fit for any reason you don’t have to move forward. We’d rather you leave feeling informed than pressured.
What if I’m not happy with the contractor or their work?

That’s exactly what the TradeHouse Guarantee is for. If a contractor sourced through TradeHouse fails to complete work or causes issues, we step in to mediate and provide a vetted replacement at no additional connection fee. Every contractor in our network is accountable to us — three verified complaints and they’re out. Your satisfaction is not optional.

When can I come in?

Once we open, our hours are Wednesday through Sunday 9AM to 5PM, with extended hours on Thursday and Friday until 6PM for those who can’t make it during the day. We’re closed Monday and Tuesday. No appointment needed — just walk in.

Signature ($750/month) gives you a dedicated physical booth in the showroom. You or a representative must be present during operating hours so homeowners can meet you face to face. Flex ($500/month) gives you a branded pillar with a QR code in the showroom. No daily presence required. Leads come through QR scans, online submissions, and staff referrals. Flex members also get access to TradeHouse conference rooms to meet with clients as needed. Both tiers pay 10% commission with a $150 minimum.
Do I need to be at the showroom every day?

Signature members must have themselves or a representative present during TradeHouse operating hours. Homeowners walk in expecting to meet you, so coverage is important. Just notify staff if you need to step out. Flex members have no daily presence requirement — your branded pillar and QR code work for you while you’re in the field. When you get a lead you can schedule a meeting in one of our conference rooms.
How does commission work?

Both tiers pay 10% commission on every completed job that originated through TradeHouse. Minimum commission is $150 per job regardless of job size. Commission is due within 14 days of receiving payment from the homeowner.
What information comes with each lead?

Every lead includes the homeowner’s name, phone, project type, budget range, address, preferred start date, and a description of the work. Signature members meet homeowners in person at their booth. Flex members receive lead details and can schedule a meeting in our conference rooms.
How does commission tracking work?

We use a three-layer system. First, you self-report completed jobs within 7 days of receiving payment. Second, for jobs over $2,500 you submit a copy of the signed contract or invoice. Third, we conduct random quarterly spot audits. We also follow up with every homeowner two weeks after their meeting.
Is my trade spot truly exclusive?

Yes — one contractor per trade per tier. If you hold the Signature electrical spot, you are the only electrician with a booth. If you hold the Flex electrical spot, you are the only electrician with a pillar. Your spot is protected as long as you’re in good standing.
What are the requirements to join?

You must be licensed and insured in Colorado with a minimum of $1,000,000 general liability coverage, have a verifiable track record, and pass our in-person interview. Signature members must also be able to maintain consistent showroom presence during operating hours.
What happens if a homeowner complains?
+
Three verified complaints in any 12-month period results in immediate membership revocation. If there is a dispute, TradeHouse will mediate and may provide a replacement contractor. Your spot depends on delivering quality every time.
Can I cancel my membership?

Memberships begin with a 12-month initial term. Early termination requires 30 days written notice and a buyout of 75% of remaining monthly fees. After the initial term, the agreement auto-renews annually with a 3% rate adjustment. Commission obligations continue for 12 months after termination.

Both Signature and Flex memberships are open to all trades — Roofing, Flooring, Plumbing, Electrical, Cabinets, Drywall, Painting, HVAC, Stone Specialist, and Landscaping. All spots are exclusive — one contractor per trade per tier. Apply before your category fills.
